Affiliate Disclosure
Workflow Times is free to read and supported by affiliate commissions. This page explains what that means, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements, so you can judge our recommendations with full information.
How we earn money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy or subscribe, we may earn a commission from the seller. These programs run through affiliate networks such as Impact, directly with software companies, and through lifetime-deal marketplaces such as AppSumo and RocketHub.
It costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the vendor directly. Sometimes it’s lower, when we’ve arranged a reader discount.
How links are marked
Affiliate links on Workflow Times go through addresses that start with /go/, for example on “Visit site” and “Get deal” buttons. These links carry the sponsored attribute, which tells search engines they’re commercial links. If you’re ever unsure whether a link earns us money, assume a /go/ link does.
What commissions don’t change
- Scores. Every tool is scored with the same method, described in how we test software.
- Rankings and order. Best-of lists and alternatives are ordered by score and fit, not by commission rate. Tools with no affiliate program can and do rank first.
- What we say. We point out weaknesses, pricing traps and lifetime-deal risks whether or not we earn from a tool.
Exclusive codes
Vendors sometimes give us exclusive discount codes or extended trials for our readers. We share them when they’re genuinely useful, and a code never earns a tool a better review.
We don’t sell reviews
We don’t accept payment for reviews, scores, rankings or placement on lists, and we don’t publish sponsored reviews. If a company asks, the answer is no.
