Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain English, what information Workflow Times collects when you visit workflowtimes.com, why, and what you can do about it. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our host uses these logs to keep the site running and secure, and they are kept only for a limited period.

Click counts on /go/ links

When you click an outbound link that starts with /go/, we add one to a simple counter for that tool. This tells us which tools readers are interested in. The count is anonymous: we don’t store your name, email or any personal data with it.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and follow up. We don’t add you to any list.

Cookies

Our site runs on WordPress, which may set a small number of functional cookies, and our caching setup may use cookies to serve pages quickly. These aren’t used to build a profile of you.

When you follow an affiliate link and leave our site, the partner’s website, an affiliate network or a marketplace may set its own cookies so the purchase can be credited to us. Those cookies are governed by that company’s privacy policy, not ours. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How we use information

  • To run, secure and fix the website.
  • To understand which tools and pages readers find useful.
  • To answer messages you send us.

We don’t sell your data, rent it or share it with advertisers. We only share information when a service provider, such as our host, needs it to run the site, or when the law requires it.

Newsletter

We don’t run a newsletter yet. If we start one, it will be opt-in, and we’ll update this policy to explain how your email address is handled before we collect any.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@workflowtimes.com and we’ll respond as quickly as we can. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy laws, and we’ll honour them.

Children

Workflow Times is written for adults choosing business software. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date below. For significant changes, we’ll make a note of them on the site.

Contact

Questions about privacy can go to hello@workflowtimes.com, or see our contact page.
